so yea.... i just got a new camera, and i have a million old pictures. so i'm going to become an updating catching up to my life machine. because if 75% of my photos are already up, i can't just skip the 25% before moving on with new camera photos. ugh.  ( BRUNCH )Mon, Aug. 20th, 2007, 04:37 pm
birthday week!
so for my birthday jessie came to visit, and then a few days later we went down to florida to hang out with her, so kind of like a week long party!  ( 22 is the new 21 )

its been awhile
so its been a long time, and as usual the thing to jumpstart my creativity is a different medium! i treated myself to a new camera! and these two rolls of film were the start to me getting used to it. the main problem now is not knowing whether or not the flash will go off though! enjoy! also, i am feeling antsy to finish my awesome israel pictures, followed by funny clark pictures and then some out of control taum sauk ones. cause i gotta get something done! the co-op
so yea...i'm at camp, and i haven't finished putting up pictures of israel. but i happened to have a whole set of pictures from last semester all edited and ready to post. so here we go. the co-op!  ( artichoke! )

tel aviv!
a night out in tel aviv! it all started with a crazy car/scooter accident (we weren't involved, but we witnessed, and our guard/medic austin rushed to help out! then one of our soldiers gave us a tour of tel aviv. which it turns out is bauhaus central!  i mean, after gropius and bruer moved to lincoln MA, the rest of the bauhausians moved to israel! ( oh yea )
After a rainy weekend, the sun was shining on the day we were expected to be a little bit down - yad vashem is the holocaust memorial/museum... but here is our funny bus that we rode everywhere!  ( like a caterpillar ) Wed, Apr. 18th, 2007, 02:51 pm
we had all been sort of fearing it for days, and then it arrived, it pretty much sucked, but then it was over. it was also insane, and boring at the same time. but i got to see rachel byrne for a second, and eat a crepe!  ( MEGA!event! )Sun, Apr. 15th, 2007, 10:05 pm
jerusalem!
finally we had a bit of a night out...but then it rained! atleast i got to eat some sketchy falafel and some gelato!  ( shalom )
That afternoon we went directly from our hike/picnic/mike's birthday to some awesome caves we actually drove by the field where david and goliath fought as well then talked about some more "recent" jewish history, when the jews had to hide from the Romans. They made the caves we were in out, by connecting their cisterns and tunnelling like crazy, then hiding for a lot long time  this is the hole we climbed down ( more! ) Tue, Apr. 10th, 2007, 12:22 am

ISRAEL!!!!!!!
so yes...the day has finally arrived. and it ACTUALLY arrived sometime between january 2nd and 3rd, but with all the jet lag who really knows?  danny! if you haven't seen his 'lovely' face before, here it is! my travel buddy extraordinaire! ( CLICK HERE )
so up to this point i've been using photobucket, but a premium account. and i sort of want to get out of that.
does anyone know anything about photoblog.com, or any other photo blog sites?
any recommendations for a new place to share my photos?

driving east
was done at crazy times, and went pretty smoothly ...well besides my crazy food stop that didn't. and resulted in me having a giant bag of fritos. which lasted all the way to the top of the highest point in israel, but thats another story! this one is all about sunrises  ( sunrise, sunset )
so unfortunately once i got home, i got deathly ill. like, i couldn't move or hardly eat. so i didnt do much of anything worth taking photos of (i.e. watched degrassi and played with my pets) except once:  when abby and i went out for awesome mexican and that guy in the picture made abby sing margaritaville with him other than that it was all... ( new year's eve )

driving home!
my drive home was awesome and hilarious. and these photos will attest to that!  it started off with a "how many grapes can you fit in your mouth" competition ( crazy )
were in full(glass)blown beauty! and so was the day i went with my family over thanksgiving break.  ( Oh i know you want more ) |
